Stella was rescued after being dumped outdoors (4 paw-declawed) around moving season and living under a BBQ for 3 months.

Hi Caroline,

Stella is doing great - she warmed up to me pretty quick, and got along great with my parents and a couple of friends who came by to meet her. She's using the litter box without problem, and is happily chattering away at me as we speak (I'm working from home today). She's not too fond of me pilling her, but she didn't want the pill wrapped in cheese or dipped in yogurt, so I have to do it the hard way, unfortunately. She has claimed her spot on my bed when I'm not here, and loves the little window sill I have in the living room. I haven't found a toy that keeps her interest for longer than a couple of minutes at a time yet, but I'm determined - she needs the exercise, and I don't think she'll be jumping in to do a workout video with me :)

I've started transitioning her to the diet food, and I'm being very careful with her portions, so that should help her get in shape in no time.
