Macbeth was rescued December 2009, with his bother Jack-Sparrow after being born and raised outdoors to a stray cat population. Hi Caroline! I hope everything is going smoothly at Eleven Eleven, I've been keeping up with you guys on facebook and it always seems like you have your hands full! It's great work that you do. :) Macbeth is doing very well. He just turned 2 years old last week and he's a happy and healthy 10 lbs. We've had a great year and a half together, he has settled very comfortably into my life. He loves sitting on window sills, napping in the laundry basket, and of course, lots of snuggles! He used to wake me up in the mornings to be petted, but now we waits like a gentleman until my alarm has gone off before he jumps on my chest and starts purring. (As my vet put it once- he's "so regal!") No one who sees him can believe he was born feral. I can hardly believe it myself, because he's so well behaved. Thanks again for rescuing him- I can't imagine life without him. - Kathleen |
