About Me: They call me Remi, like the street i was found running on when i was rescued. I've had a few names in my life, but for now i respond to this one - i kinda like it actually. See they don't know much about my life, i was once a vagabond, and then found a rail road track to follow which lend me into the hands of my rescuer. I was running from something, someone, and wore my feet right down to the muscles from running to much. I've been resting and going back and fourth to the doctor's since August - and i still have a long way to heal from the damage i did to myself while running. I keep trying to tell these humans what i was running from, and why, where i came from and what my really name is - but they just don't understand me, simple language barrier. Who cares now anyways, the past is the past, and i like to live in the future. I am safe now, that's what counts. My foster mum takes excellent care of me, and has me on bed rest, i am so exhausted from my journey i just sleep and let me paws heal for most of my day every day - bed rest she calls it (her bed is sure comfy). I also have two new foster siblings, they're a blast to play with, and take great care making sure i feel at home. Right now i have a ways to go while my paws get better, they also say i have food allergies so they keep me on a special diet and i have to wear a goofy cone to stop me from itching my feet to the bone (although i figured out a few tricks on how to get around this silly cone). I am also learning all about this new place, meeting tons of people, and my foster mum constantly assures me not every stranger on our walks needs to be announced with a bark to her - i just want to make sure she is never caught off guard you know. I'm still learning how to relax in the new life i've landed in, but i'm sure happy to be here, i can't stop giving her kisses to thank her for caring for me. Soon when i'm all healed up i am told i will have to find another home, so she can help others like me - i sure hope my next home is my forever home - i promise to re-pay you with unconditional love and will always keep an eye out for you (i take pride in making sure my family is safe).

Requirements for adoption: i need a home who will udnerstand i have allergies and is willing to see me through my itchy times - the rescue can tell you all about how to care for me.

Remi is up-to-date with routine shots, microchipped, treated for worms and fleas, has learned basic obedience, house trained and to be neutered.
