About Me: Hey, I am MacKenzie but you can just call me Your Majesty. I am quite the Queen and the boys fall at my knees when I bat my beautiful green eyes. I rose through the ranks as a stray single mother to become an honourable Queen. All my little princesses and princes went off to their new homes but I am patiently waiting for someone who can give me just what I am looking for! I am now used to the best in life SO, as your ruler and sovereign, I will continue to demand only the best life has to offer. Don’t worry though; I am not an unfair Queen. In return for love, loyalty AND food I will offer you an endless supply of affection and amusement as we cuddle, watch TV and find new hiding spots for me to take over. I better get going – I have a lot of duties to attend to. Signed - Your Highness: MacKenzie. xoxo
Originally rescued off the streets as an emaciated momma cat with 3 kittens and 5 more on the way at just under a year old. All of her kittens have been adopted over a year ago, and this sweet mom who has never had a home of her own is still waiting patiently.
A note from her foster mum: Minxie... what a personality! She struts around like she is the prettiest thing alive -- and she knows it too! She is Da Minx. She loves attention. But don't touch. It's not ok to pet her whenever you want because she likes her space. She will come to you. Sometimes she will tease you by rubbing against your leg - which means you can pet her a little bit until she gets what she wants.
When it is playtime, wave a feather boa in front of her and she will put up both her front paws like a little bear. She is so funny! During the day, she loves to sit by the window and search for prey. When she finds it she often squeels and runs back and forth between windows to see if she can get a better vantage point. About once a day, usually in the evening, she turns into a whirlwind zooming in and out of rooms, closets, shelves and anything she can run onto.... She will make you laugh for a whole 10 mins while she runs runs runs!! And then, as if nothing just happened, she plops!!
During the day and when there is a lot of activity, she is nosy and likes to poke around and see what everyone is doing. When you're in the bathroom, she comes to chill in the bathtub. You go in the forbidden closet and she will try to sneak in. She especially loves to perch herself on the kitchen window ledge while I prepare dinner a few feet away. She watches on like a little hawk, her gaze following my every movement as I shuffle about the kitchen. Eventually she mellows out and she is the sweetest little kitty alive. She loves getting pet when she is snoozing. Sometimes when she hears you coming by, she looks up at you and rearranges herself all cute-like so you want to go see her. Approach her gently and she will curl in her head and paws to expose her neck so you can pet her under her tiny little chin. That is the exact moment you become putty in her capable paws. She purrs very quietly and gently. Often you can't hear it but if you stroke her soft little neck you will feel her throat vibrating from her purr. Sometimes if you stay in one spot she will come to you. She loves getting pet while I watch TV -- especially anything HBO. Sometimes she'll be there half hour while I absent-mindedly stroke her soft fur around her head and neck.
I usually wake up to see a cute little fuzzball sprawled over a blanket by my side. She is always good for a morning pet. But once she is up, she is da minx again... always showing off but totally in control of the cards!.
Mackenzie is up-to-date with routine shots, De-wormed, Feline Aids & Leukemia tested negative, litter trained, microchipped and sterilized.
